Creativity and productivity have found a new stage since 2010 in Munich-Sendling, namely on the former Philip Morris production site. A factory for ideas has arisen covering around 60,000 sqm. with studios, offices, production halls, warehouses and logistics, apartments a fitness studio and a café.
60,000 sqm. of rental space for all types of commercial use was created on the historic Philip Morris grounds where an old tobacco factory was located. The connected spaces of up to 5,000 sqm. make possible practically all kinds of production, storage and logistics as well as attractive, loft-like offices and spacious studios.
Inspired by the idea of making art accessible to the public the “Work‘n‘Progress“ in the WerkStadt Sendling Street Art was created and can hold its own internationally.. The internationally established Urban-Art-Duo “Low Bros“ developed a huge work of art on the façade to inspire all creative minds in the WerkStadt.
“We cook in our designer kitchen, chill on the rooftop terrace – everything is beautiful, inspiring and of course sustainable – altogether a house for friends.“
