Uferstadt, Fürth

In mid-2004 the Investa Real Estate took over asset management of Uferstadt Fürth. The former Grundig site, located centrally in the metropolitan area of Nürnberg-Fürth-Erlangen, offers existing space of altogether 90,000 sqm. on an area of approximately 62,000 sqm. Since asset management was taken over, Investa acquired new users for over 30.000 sqm. All buildings were completed renovated and expanded according to the specifications required by the tenant and special technical solutions (laboratory and research) in new construction quality. Fürth became a university town for the first time through the location of the Central Institute for New Materials of the Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg in the Uferstadt.
In June 2016 Uferstadt Fürth was sold to the Campus Immobilien Fonds of Union Investment which together with Investa Capital Management was launched in 2016.
