MARIENPARK | BERLIN
Surrounded by historic buildings, industrial monuments and extensive green spaces, one of Berlin’s most infrastructurally sophisticated innovation quarters is being developed on an industrial estate covering more than thirty hectares in the south of Berlin. The site in the Tempelhof-Schöneberg district has been a significant business location for Berlin since it was first developed at the beginning of the 20th century.
Up to 250,000 square meters of new construction will be developed on the Marienpark Berlin site over a total development period of more than ten years, complementing the existing historic buildings.
Already, a carefully curated community of established companies, startups, think and do tanks has emerged, primarily from the life sciences, urban production, AI technology, additive manufacturing and renewable energy sectors. The elaborate revitalization of the old stock as well as the careful handling of the large green spaces are an increase in the quality of stay for the people and visitors on site.
As part of the former Mariendorf gas works, the site is being developed by BMDF Gewerbepark Berlin-Mariendorf GmbH & Co. KG.
